Here are some ideas on how to get employees excited about VR training:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><strong>Share testimonials<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; During your pilot or initial training, get permission to take pictures and video and get testimonials from employees on what they liked about VR training. You could also have an executive or well known employee try it out and record their experience. Share these videos, pictures and testimonials in employee communications or on internal portals to drive hype.<\/span><\/span>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><strong>Experience VR<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; Send headsets to offices and let employees try them out to acclimate to VR. Make the trial fun or incentivized. For instance, everyone who tries it out gets entered into a raffle for a cool prize. You could also do this simultaneously for a \u201cVR Day\u201d when different offices compete to see how many try it or even do a fun assessment and see which office scores the highest.<\/span><\/span>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><strong>VR competition<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; If you need to motivate peers in other areas to start adopting VR training, you can create a competition. Work with management to determine an incentivizing prize such as a party for a department\/office, time off, etc<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>After the promotional period, continue to expand the training, targeting the training content and groups that will have the biggest impact on the problem you are trying to solve. Continue to promote VR training regularly in employee communications by letting employees know what it has improved and how it is helping the company achieve its goals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continue to monitor progress and add content and expand to employees as makes sense. Remember, VR training isn\u2019t a replacement for all classroom or computer-based training, but rather is a way to fill the gaps and enhance the overall program.
