ROYAL OAK, Mich. \u2014 Extended reality (XR) solutions company, PIXO, has announced a new virtual reality (VR) module: ‘Working at Heights Training – Oil and Gas Platform’<\/em>, adding to its ever-expanding Content Collection<\/a>. This module, created by Inside Technologia<\/a>, is available now on PIXO’s groundbreaking content distribution platform, Apex\u2122<\/a>, which enables simplified deployment and management of VR, AR (augmented reality), and MR (mixed reality) applications and data analytics for enterprise.<\/p>\n

The objective of this new module is to raise awareness about the risks and preventive measures against accidents in work at heights on an oil and gas platform (FPSO). Users must select correctly their personal protective equipment and work tools. They also must perform a routine task on the scaffolding on the ship\u00b4s deck. ‘Working at Heights Training – Oil and Gas Platform’<\/em> can be applied for training, recycling and monitoring the risk awareness of employees.<\/p>\n
